Afternoon in the pasture

These are just a variety of pictures I took this afternoon while out in the pasture. I was trying out different settings on my camera if some of the pictures look a little different.

Left to right, no star (KC), little star (Duke), and big star (Henrietta)

Duke is trying to figure out his new little brother :-)

New baby!

This morning brought our third baby this year, Drifter had a beautiful stud colt! We are calling him KC, since he shares the same birthday as my uncle Ken :-) He is out of our stallion Watch Joe Shaq and our mare Srb Country Drifter. These pictures were taken this afternoon.

Smokey and Duke

Mom and I decided to call Smokeys stud colt "Duke" so if you see this name on future post, that is him :-) These pictures were taken this afternoon, same as the last post with Henrietta and Royal.
He is out of our stallion Watch Joe Shaq and our mare Srb Go Smokey Roann. So far he is the only stud colt but we still have a couple babies to come.
Dad (Shaq), Mom(Smokey), and baby Duke :-)

These photos were taken today of Henrietta, the oldest baby this year at Windy Creek. She is out of our stallion Watch Joe Shaq and our mare Srb Royal Drifter.

tonight in the pasture

I got out a little late tonight to get good sunset pictures with our horses and colts, but here are a couple of the clearer ones. These were taken a little over an hour ago :-) We are still waiting for more babies to come, our two babies so far are looking great!
It has been a while since the pasture was dry enough for me to get out there with my camera, I need to get out earlier in the day and get more pictures with the wonderful green grass in the background! It is a huge blessing having the amount of grass that we do, I hope that the blessing continues throughout the summer.
