Colts still available

We currently have three colts available. In earlier post, Smokey's red dun was spoken for but is now available. So we have Henrietta, Duke, and KC all for sale. Price is $700 for choice and as in other post, if our colts are leaving our state of Iowa we ask you cover vet cost to allow them to cross state lines. We are working on their registration papers with the American Quarter Horse Association.

Bunch of pictures taken August 9th

Karina's Rebal

My niece's filly from this year, Rebal, is looking great, she is kinda roan - kinda dun, and still kinda young, so anxious what the next couple months will bring for her color change :-) Rebal is out of Shaq and our mare SRB Can 'Cane'

KC

The following pictures are of our awesome red roan stud colt 'KC' out of our stallion Shaq and mare SRB Country 'Drifter'. These pictures were taken yesterday. Henrietta (from last post) and KC are out of full sisters; SRB Country Drifter and SRB Royal Drifter. KC is also available, he and Henrietta are the only two still available to purchase, the other three are all spoken for. KC's price is also $750 and added cost covered by buyer if he will be leaving our state of Iowa. We have been having the AQHA papers back for our babies before they are sold but sometimes time wise they are still in process but they all have registration papers to fill out for the American Quarter Horse Association.

Henrietta

The following pictures of Henrietta were taken yesterday afternoon, 8-9-15. She is a beautiful little red roan filly out of our stallion Shaq and our mare SRB 'Royal' Drifter. She is still available for purchase, we are asking $750 and if she is leaving our state of Iowa we ask that you cover coggins and health paper cost. Thank you all for coming to our blog and look at our horses. I have never done a blog until this one, I started blogging in 2008 and I am still not sure what having a blog all entails but I am having a blast putting pictures of our American Quarter Horse colts on here every year.

The following pictures are of two of our five wonderful mares here at Windy Creek; Srb Can 'Cane' and SRB Go 'Smokey' Roann and our stallion Watch Joe 'Shaq'.These pictures were taken yesterday evening.

Cane has her baby!

Last Monday, June 22nd, our mare SRB Can "Cane" had her baby! This little one finishes off our crop of babies for this year, we are 5 for 5! Before Cane's baby was barely dry, my niece had spoken for it, so as of right now this baby is just to admire, not for purchase :-) It was definetely worth the wait! These photos were taken on two different days, June 23 (just a day old) and June 30th.

windy creek babies...

The following photos were taken over a few different days between June 26th to June 30th. Our two oldest babies still have the dark shedding circles around their eyes, and Henrietta, our oldest is really "roaning" out! They are all looking great though, in a couple months, when they are done shedding off their baby hair, they are going to be absolutely gorgeous!  These four babies are all up for sale, we have been weaning them in the Fall and then having them sold after, the price of choice is $750 and if they are traveling out of Iowa we ask that you pay the vet bills for coggins test and health papers and be in charge of pick up. We will either have their American Quarter Horse Association registration papers in hand or in process depending of time when they are sold. Thank you all for looking at my blog, we hope seeing our beautiful horses can brighten your day...
