Smokey's awesome stud colt!

On Mother's Day (5-11) our mare Smokey had an amazing little stud colt! His color could be a "red dun that carries and expresses the roan gene" like his daddy, Shaq! In these pictures he is just a couple days old.

pictures from may 13th

Last Tuesday I got these pictures of our two oldest babies while trying to get pictures of our newest addition! Yep, we have another beautiful windy creek quarter horses baby! Smokey had a stud colt on mothers day, in the next post I will have pictures of him on. Drifters little filly is looking kind of red dunn-ish but still so light by her legs, as in most all years, we will have to wait and see what color she is going turn out to be :-)

In my post, I don't always use the registered name of our horses so I thought I would do a recap of our five mares and Shaq. They are all registered with the American Quarter Horse Association. Thank you for taking the time to check our blog, be sure to check back throughout the spring and summer for more pictures of our two fillies and the three babies yet to come :-)

new pictures of Difters little sweetie!

These pictures were taken last weekend, goodness is she beautiful!

Royal has beautiful red roan filly too!!!

April 10 brought us our second baby of the year! Our mare "Royal" had an absolutely gorgeous red roan filly, the dark burgundy roan color! These pictures were taken this past weekend when she was a little over two weeks old, wow, is she pretty!
