Smokey's stud colt, holy cow!!!

Earlier this week I got a couple pictures of Smokey's red roan stud colt. It is half and half right now, his back half is white and his front half is mostly the red. Drifter's stud colt is shedding off to a beautiful red dun. They are both absolutely gorgeous, we are still waiting on Cane and Syd to have their babies, but the two we have so far are awesome. We are thinking for prices, that $550 choice with either cash or verified good check, thank you. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

wow- windy creek babies sure grow up pretty!

Yesterday my brother Dan and his kids Karina and Ezra went on a trail ride so I had to get couple pictures of my nephew Caleb's mare that his sister Karina was riding. "Sugar" was born in 2007 from  our stallion Shaq and our mare Drifter and has really been working out nice for them.

Just stud colts left, so far...

Sorrow has hit Windy Creek, Royals baby passed away so we have just two babies on the ground right now. Syd is getting pretty close so we are anxious to see what she will be giving us this year, her pretty blue roanish filly from last year that my nephew Ezra bought is looking awesome this year! Here are couple pictures of Drifter's and Smokey's stud colts that were taken this past week.

Drifter's stud colt

When I was getting pictures of Smokey's new baby I just had to get couple pictures of Drifter's stud colt, he is just over month old now but wow is he built! I have always favored Drifter's babies so I may just be biased but this little guy is absolutely gorgeous!

Super nice new stud colt

On Saturday, May 11th Smokey gave us a beautiful red roan stud colt! WOW!!! He is certainly a looker with a great color!

Two new additions so far!

Royal and filly in front --- Drifter and stud in back

Drifter and stud colt
Royals' filly

On April 15th we were excited to find that not one but two new babies decided to make an appearance! Not to be out done, full sisters Srb Country Drifter and Srb Royal Drifter gave us, the first time in 8 or so years of having colts, two babies on the same day. Drifters is a stud colt and Royals a little filly. If you have seen our colts in the past, they go through about 5 different colors before weaning time so I think they will be either red roans or red duns, they both have dorsal stripes. We have had two days in a row of new ones but never on the same day. So far they are the only two on the ground. Our lovely Iowa  weather (not!!!) has not given me much chance to get out and take my usual pictures but as always there will be more pictures of these two and the future babies in the weeks to come! As mentioned, Drifter and Royal are full sisters so the papers would look the same as above except for name of dam.
