We have four super sweet babies this year! The oldest filly out of our mare Srb Royal Drifter (Royal) is getting dark marks around her eyes where she is shedding her baby coat. It looks like our three fillies this year are all going to roan out into some shade of red roan as for our one stud colt, I think he may stay a solid color but you never know :-)
The other day I was out in the heat and flies to get some pictures. This post will be all four and then I will go back and post separate of them. They will all be available to purchase when they are old enough to be weaned. They are all out of our farm stallion Watch Joe Shaq (Shaq).

Royals 2016 filly

March 31, 2016 brought us a beautiful red roan filly from our quarter horse mare SRB Royal Drifter (Royal) and our quarter horse stallion Watch Joe Shaq (Shaq). The way she is looking I think she may be a dark red roan, the kind I call burgundy roans :-). Our babies go through several color changes in their first few months so you will have to be sure to check back on her to see if she stays the burgundy roan or changes color. As with all of our babies, she will be available to purchase as soon as she is old enough. Most of these pictures were taken last week except the last one I took this morning in the rain so that is why she looks wet.

All 2015 babies are sold

Instead of the confusing last post I thought I would clear up my mess. All five of our 2015 quarter horse babies have been sold. My family and I thank our buyers and all of you who support our passion of raising quality AQHA colts year after year.

One registered yearlings still available

We currently have just one wonderful, registered quarter horse yearling available to purchase, Watch Royal Hetti. Watch Royal Hetti is a red dun filly that carries and expresses the roan gene. We are asking $650 for 'Henrietta and if she is leaving our state of Iowa that the buyer covers whatever vet bills needed for out of state travel. She is sired by our stallion Watch Joe Shaq, and 15.2 hand red dun that carries and expresses the roan gene. "Henrietta" is out of our mare Srb Royal Drifter, and 15 hand sorrel. Last fall she was weaned and haltered. If serious about finding more about purchasing either or both of these outstanding yearlings, text my brother Dan at 712-269-8395 or email me, Lisa at windycreekqh@gmail.com. The following pictures are some of "Shaq", "Royal", "Smokey", and "Duke" and our yearling still for sale "Henrietta"
