a few pictures of our 2018 babies

Our babies are all out of our farm stallion Watch Joe Shaq (Watch Joe Jack Bars x Sue Fancy). Shaq is a red dun that carries and expresses the roan gene so his combination with our sorrel and bay mares lead to colorful babies every year. The babies usually go through a couple color changes before they are weaned in the Fall. We have three beautiful fillies and one great looking stud colt, in a few months they will be available to purchase so please keep us in mind when looking for your next amazing quarter horse :-) 

Last night I captured these pictures of our three babies. These little fillies are all looking great and really growing. We are anxiously awaiting our last two mares to have their babies.

Watch Joe Shaq

I was wanting to share a couple pictures of our farm stallion Watch Joe Shaq. He continues to be a great stallion who is very easy to be around. Shaq's color is red dun that carries and expresses the roan gene. I think his color combination is why it is so hard to pin point the colors that his babies are going to end up being, they usually go through three or four color changes during their first summer :-)
Anyway, just wanted to show our pretty Shaq off a little.
We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and are able to get relief from the heat.

Two great 2 year olds for sale

We have two of our Windy Creek babies that are now 2 year olds for sale. The price for the pair is $2500 and as with all of our sales, we ask that if they are leaving our state of Iowa that we ask the buyer to cover any vet bills that come with travel.

We currently have three beautiful babies on the ground. I don't have a picture of Royals baby yet but will soon.
They are all doing great and already showing that great Windy Creek disposition. Like always, when they are old enough, they will be available to purchase :-)

Here are just a couple more pictures from the snowy morning a few weeks ago when I took the pictures from the last post of our mare Smokey. 

I think it is safe to say that our quarter horse mamas are as ready for Spring as we are!

SRB Go Smokey Roann

Right now in Northwest Iowa the sun is shining and the temperature is in the mid 40's but I just realized that I never got these pictures on here yet that I took of our registered quarter horse mare SRB Go Smokey Roann. These pictures were taken a few weeks ago. 

Smokey is one of five wonderful mama quarter horses that we have on our farm and we are anxious to soon meet their babies this Spring ☺

Three registered AQHA yearlings - SOLD

We currently have three of our 2017 babies still available to purchase. They are all from our stallion Watch Joe Shaq and our mares that are all half sisters and granddaughters of Mr Baron Red.

If they are going out of state for their new home we ask that the buyer be in charge of pick up and the cost of coggins and any other test needed to travel out of our state of Iowa  to be reimbursed.

Price is $600 for choice or if you want to get all three $1500.
