Windy Creek stallion Watch Joe Shaq

Tonight, April 30th, I was out hoping to get pictures of Smokeys new little one but instead got his Daddy :-) These pictures are of our AQHA registered stallion, Watch Joe Shaq. He has produced countless wonderful foals together with and our five AQHA mares for the last ten years and we are anxious for his foals yet to come. He is registered as a red dun that carries and expresses the roan gene and stands at about 15.2 hands

New colt last night!!!

Our mare Smokey finally got the hint that we couldn't wait any more to see her baby, last night April 29th Smokey had an great stud colt.These pictures were taken this morning. He is out of our stallion Watch Joe Shaq and our mare SRB Go Smokey Roann. I couldn't get a picture of him standing, our Iowa sunshine just felt too good for him to not soak it up :-) Later, when I didn't have my camera he was running circles around Smokey! Like all our babies, I will be getting more pictures of him in the coming months.

New pics of Henrietta

On the 27th I was able to get these pictures of our oldest 2015 Windy Creek baby, Henrietta. She is so beautiful and every day filling out more. Henrietta is going to be an absolute beauty, inside and out! I have a couple more post to make tonight, it is another 'catch up on my blog night' :-) Just a reminder, she is out of our stallion AQHA registered Watch Joe Shaq and our AQHA mare SRB Royal Drifter and born April 9th.

The other day while watering the horses I had camera in hand in case I could get a good pictures of any of our horses and sure enough they pulled through for me! I didn't get one of all of them but a couple were in a posing mode which I loved!

"Henrietta"

Our baby born on April 9th is a sweet little filly! In honor of my late great-uncle Claus Henry, who shares her birthday I have started calling her "Henrietta." This is just her fun name, by the time filling out her registration papers come around, she will have a more Official sounding name on paper, maybe :-) I only got a couple of pictures of her the other day, but she is really filling out nice and has a pretty red dun-ish color right now. If you have been following our blog you will notice our babies go through a couple colors in their first few months before settling on one color. These pictures were taken on the 12th, Henrietta is still our only baby on the ground, Smokey and Drifter are getting there :-)

New Windy Creek baby!!!

This morning, April 9th, after days and days of waiting, our mare Royal had the first Windy Creek baby of 2015! I am sorry to say that with the mud that I haven't got close enough to tell if it is a filly or stud but it is beautiful! The pictures aren't the best, I had to zoom pretty far to get them, but make no mistake, there will be more pictures of this awesome baby in the months to come :-)

january 2015

It has been months since my last post, sorry about that! These few pictures were taken the end of january of this year, I didn't get pictures of all of our mares but now that spring is here there will definitely be more post and pictures of all of our mares ( and our stallion Shaq :-)) We still have our five mares *Syd, SRB Jazzy Lady - *Drifter, SRB Country Drifter - *Cane, SRB Can Cane - *Royal, SRB Royal Drifter - and *Smokey, SRB Go Smokey Roann. They are all out of the stallion Sneaky Red Baron who is out of Mr Baron Red and Sneaky Feast. Our Stallion, Shaq, Watch Joe Shaq is out of Watch Joe Jack Bars (Watch Joe Jack X Elano) and Sue Fancy (Fancy Red Bar Boy X Toms Sue Bark).
